3. Click DHCP, click DHCP Server and then click DHCP
Options.
4. Add the following DHCP options to the external
DHCP server:
ID: 6
Name: DNS Server
Data Type: IP Address
Identifier: 6
Value: (static IP address assigned to the 3100 ICP or
the IP address of an existing DNS server)
Scope: Global
ID: 128
Name: TFTP Server
Data Type: IP Address
Identifier: 128
Value: (static IP address assigned to the 3100 ICP)
Scope: Global
ID: 129
Name: (IP PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER)
Data Type: IP Address
Identifier: 6
Value: (static IP address assigned to the 3100 ICP)
Scope: Global
ID: 130
Name: MITEL IP PHONE
Data Type: String
Identifier: 130
Value: MITEL IP PHONE
Scope: Global or select the subnet IP address range
5. Click Save.
6. Connect the crossover cable between a layer-2 port
on the 3100 ICP system to a router or switch port on
the existing LAN.
7. Commit your database.
“Operation Successful” is displayed when the commit
database is complete.
