Configuring the PC
Configure your PC to connect to the 3100 ICP system.
Windows 95/98
1. From the Start menu, click Settings and then click
Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, double click the
Network icon.
3. Click Configuration.
4. Click the TCP/IP component and then click
Properties.
5. Select “Obtain an IP address automatically”.
6. Click OK.
7. Restart your PC. You are now set up to connect to the
3100 ICP system.
Windows NT
1. Login to the PC with administrator privileges.
2. In the Control Panel window, double click the
Network icon.
3. Click Protocols.
4. Click TCP/IP Protocols and then click Properties.
5. From the Adapter drop down list, highlight the device
that is being used to connect to the 3100 ICP system,
then click Obtain an IP address from a DHCP
server.
6. Click OK.
